“Samsung Galaxy S” - A new era approaches us

The all new Samsung Galaxy S smart phone is a all in one machine, it has got everything that a teen or business man who is still a kid at heart needs, not to mention it comes with a very smooth and silky finish.

It has Quad-band GSM and tri-band 3G support, so you can enjoy 3G connections in the Samsung Galaxy S. Coming to the display it has a 4 inch 16M-color Super AMOLED capacitive touch screen of WVGA of a 480 x 800 pixel resolution. I found the screen is really good for my video watching needs, and the touch sensitivity is really nice due to the operating system being the Android OS v2.1 which has the Touch Wiz 3.0 UI customization. The user interface is really good as well, they have used the icons similar to the iPhone, which gives a pretty cool look and an easy to navigate menu.

The central processing unit is a 1GHz Cortex A8 Hummingbird, it has a 512 MB of RAM, which is more than enough for a fast operation. The memory is expandable up to 16 GB; it has a microSD slot for storage. And as usual, it has the microUSB port which is the Samsung special. With a 3.5 mm audio jack in which you can connect your laptop headset and enjoy your music in high quality, you can even connect it to your 5:1 speakers and bang! Samsung Galaxy S did not miss the Stereo FM radio with RDS, you can enjoy radio on the go (headset is mandatory). It has a 5 MP Autofocus camera with face detection, smile detection and also blink detection and a dual camera support for making 3G video calls.

Samsung Galaxy S is an excellent option for those looking into getting a new phone. My rating? 5/5.
